You can really help Sister's Camelot by making a donation. 

    It takes money to run a non-profit.  Sister's Camelot funds go to operating expenses including modest salaries, a small office, gasoline, mechanics, insurance, etc...  Some money goes to special projects like our summer "weekend"  kitchens and community garden landscaping.
    Food donations are always free, some food is purchased for the kitchen bus, but most is intercepted before it hits the dumpsters.  Last year's retail estimate of food shared by Sisters Camelot was $1,000,000.00.  Operating expenses were $130,000 of which 37% went into fundraising, all in house.
    Considering the food given away for free, our accumulated fundraising overhead was less than 3%..  And there is no way to put a value on the time spent by all our volunteers.

Revenue, expenses and such are reported annually on IRS form 990 and to the Minnesota Attorney General..

On tax deductible donations of less than $250 write Sister's Camelot's tax ID number (41-1901781) in the memo space for your records.  For donations greater than $250 we will send you a written receipt for accounting.  Please include your phone number if you'd like us to call you about volunteer opportunities.
